Creating explorable vast open worlds, quest completion and enemy engagement in combat sequences and events.
For this project, I undertook the creation of an immersive open-world adventure game that provides the player with the freedom to explore a vast and dynamic environment filled with interactive non-playable characters, storefronts, and the possibility of encountering enemies. Leveraging the powerful Unity Assets toolset, I meticulously constructed every facet of the game world, painstakingly designing each building's interior and ensuring each prefab perfectly complemented its surroundings to enable players to truly immerse themselves in the game's world.
To capture the game's overarching theme, I strategically employed a vivid and striking color palette, which infuses the world with a sense of energy and vitality. Moreover, I adjusted the lighting and level design to create the ideal atmosphere for the game's "distortion" sequences, which add an extra layer of dynamism and tension to the gameplay. Overall, I have delivered a fully-realised and cohesive gaming experience, replete with compelling gameplay mechanics and stunning visual design, that will captivate players and provide them with hours of engaging entertainment.
This adventure features an immersive storyline with a strong emphasis on character development and player choice. Players can choose their character's appearance, abilities, and skills, and their decisions throughout the game affect the story and outcomes of quests.
The gameplay of this RPG involves exploring a richly detailed game world, solving puzzles, and interacting with non-player characters (NPCs) to learn more about the game's lore and objectives.
Combat is free-flowing, enabling the player to combo and vary their move sets in accordance with the enemy type and situation they are faced with. The player's character can level up and gain new abilities and equipment as they progress through the game, with a variety of side quests and activities to keep players engaged for hours.
